This year’s event will cover:

  • Employment Rights Act – following Royal Assent at the end of 2025, we will look at what will come into force on which date and practical tips on preparing for the new legislation.
  • Freedom of Speech
  • Protection from harassment
  • Equality issues including mandatory ethnicity and disability pay gap reporting
  • Artificial intelligence
  • Employment related issues affecting Welsh and Scottish HEIs

Event directions

This year’s event is being held at the prestigious Woburn House, Tavistock Square, London WC1H 9HQ.

HE institutions in TPS face substantial financial challenges which have been exacerbated by the extraordinary increases in employer pension contributions. UCEA has lobbied successive Westminster Governments for financial support for these increased costs for our post-92 members, which has been made available to schools and FE colleges.

Raj Jethwa UCEA Chief Executive
